Members of the University of Toronto community including faculty, alumni, and honorary degree holders support the three demands of the University of Toronto’s People's Circle for Palestine that the University of Toronto:
(1) disclose all investments held in endowments, short-term working capital assets, and other financial holdings of the University hereafter;
(2) divest the university’s endowment, capital assets, and other financial holdings from all direct and indirect investments that sustain Israeli apartheid, occupation, and illegal settlement of Palestine
(3) terminate all partnerships with Israeli academic institutions that either a) operate in settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, or; b) support or sustain the apartheid policies of the state of Israel and its ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The University of Toronto community calls on the administration to meet the students’ demands as quickly as possible given their ethical accountability to the current moment and the ethical commitments contained within university policies.
